London and South of England Chapter of the American Theatre Organ
Society, has worked as Electronic Organ Tutor at the University of Sussex
and is Principal Tutor at both our own TPOPS Academy and at the Rye
Wurlitzer Academy.
Chris Stanbury - Assistant Resident Organist
Chris is one of the busiest organists on the UK circuit and is hugely
versatile, having classically trained on both organ and piano.
Notable events for him have included playing the organ at the Notre
Dame Cathedral in Paris, giving the world premiere of a jazz organ piece
at the Duke’s Hall, Royal Academy of Music and playing piano for several
high profile corporate functions and various tours of the Far East.
He has performed on TV and on BBC Radio 2.
Alongside performing, he is passionate about educating the next
generation, loving to see his students progress, whatever their level. He
is an examiner for the London College of Music.
Cameron Lloyd - Assistant Resident Organist
Cameron is often to be found spreading his happy music ‘beside the
seaside’ as he is Resident Organist at the famous Opera House in
Blackpool and also regularly features playing the Compton organ at the
Merlin Cinema (formerly Odeon) in Weston-Super-Mare.
He is perhaps the busiest dance organist in the UK, often playing
multiple times each week, but alongside that is heavily involved in the
restoration and preservation of theatre pipe organs and holds offices
with both the Cannock Chase Organ Club and UK Theatre Organ Club.
